2008 Poker Run Rules

Issuance of cards

•You will be allowed to select a single card at five stops along the way from an official "dealer" of the Sturgis Bound Rally Poker Run to complete your poker hand. If you are playing more than one hand, you must present your card to the dealer before picking your card and whatever card you pick will be used for that hand.

•After you select the card, the “dealer” will stamp the card you selected on your "Official Hand" and sign it.

•If an identical card is drawn, another card will be drawn.

•At the end of the ride the “official hands” must be handed over to ride Organizers.

” Official Hands" that appear to have been tampered with will not be eligible.

•Card selections will not be allowed after 3:00 pm on the day of the ride and must be checked by ride officials at that time In the event of a tie for high hand, the participants will draw for high card and the winner will take all.

•In the event of a tie for worst hand, the participants will draw for low card and the winner will take all

•Various poker hands from highest to lowest:

•Royal Flush: A, K, Q, J, 10 all of the same suit.

•Straight Flush: Any five card sequence in the same suit. (Ex: 7, 8, 9, 10, J and A, 2, 3, 4, 5 of same suit).

•Four of a Kind: All four cards of the same index (Ex: J, J, J, J).

•Full House: Three of a kind combined with a pair (Ex: K, K, K, 10, 10).

•Flush: Any five cards of the same suit, but not in sequence.

•Straight: Five cards in sequence, but not in the same suit.

•Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same index.

•Two Pair: Two separate pairs (Ex: A, A, 8, 8).

•Pair: Two cards of the same index.
